Jason Feger turned in fast time of the thirty late models at Farmer City Raceway Friday night with a time of 12.997 seconds. Feger then won his heat over Roger Long and Joe Harlan. The second heat went to Steve Sheppard Jr over Wes Steidinger and Joe Ross Jr. The third heat was won by Matt Taylor over Dennis Erb Jr and Brian Dively. The semi feature went to Darren Freidman over Chris Dick. The feature saw Sheppard Jr taking the early lead, challenged early by Feger. Dennis Erb Jr came up and took the lead on the seventh lap. Erb would lead until lap 22, when the yellow flew for Richie Hedrick. During the yellow, a big puff of blue smoke came out of Erb's hot rod, and as the green flag flew again, Sheppard made the pass for the lead. Sheppard went on for the win, followed by Erb Jr, Matt Taylor and Jason Feger.

The Sportsman feature was once again a Greg Kimmons and Nick Macklin race, with Kimmons leading all 15 green flag laps and all 20 yellow flag laps as well.
The Modifieds had 27 drivers on hand, with heats going to Scott Bull, Wes O'Dell and and exciting third heat going to Denny Schwartz moving from third to take the checkers at the flag. Jeffrey Curl left the field behind in the semi feature. The feature went to Denny Schwartz, leading all 20 laps, but with Scott Bull catching him half way through and pulling alongside several times, Schwartz had a hard time keeping the youngster at bay. Bull finished second, with Aaron Ricketts third, Danny Schwartz fourth and Jeff Leka fifth.
