CARTERSVILLE, GA – The highlights of Week 21 of the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series season had Shep Lucas of McKenzie, AL taking two wins in the South Region, and two first time series winners in the West Region. Frank Wilson of Milton, FL leads the South Region, Lucky Keeton of Toomsuba, MS leads the West Region, and Logan Yates of Delta, AL leads the East Region.

Lucas picked up his third series win of the season on Friday night at Blackman Motor Speedway in Blackman, FL and then traveled to Butler County Motorsports Park in Greenville, AL on Saturday night to double up with series win number four.

Wilson has 736 points based on his 16 best finishes in 36 starts. Josh Huss of Flomaton, AL is second in the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series South Region, and has 707 points based on his 16 best finishes in 22 starts. Bobby Morrison of Milton, Fl is third with 664 points based on his 16 best finishes in 26 starts.

Donald Watson of Greenwell Springs, LA picked up his seventh series win of the season on Friday night at Baton Rouge Raceway in Baton Rouge, LA to move into the fourth spot in the StormPay.com WRS South Region. Watson has 658 points in 16 starts. Jonathan Joiner of Milton, FL is fifth with 635 points based on his 16 best finishes in 17 starts.

Joshua Joiner of Milton, FL is sixth with 631 points based on his 16 best finishes in 18 starts, and Scott Sessions of Milton, FL is seventh with 620 based on his 16 best finishes in 26 starts. Wilson, Morrison, Jonathan Joiner, Joshua Joiner, and Sessions give the “Milton Mafia” five drivers in the top ten of the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series South Region.

In other StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series South Region action over the weekend, Jamey Smith of Purvis, MS picked up his second straight West Region win of the season on Saturday night at A1 Raceway in Slidell, LA.

Larry Cifra of Moss Point, MS was back in the winner’s circle at Deep South Speedway in Loxley, AL on Saturday night with his fifth win of the season. James Ussery of Cottondale, FL continued his late-season run of victories with his sixth South Region win of the season on Saturday night at Southern Raceway in Milton, FL.

Keeton, the defending StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region Champion, took his 11th series win of the season and his third straight on Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS. Keeton has 766 points based on his 16 best finishes in 21 starts. Herman Reynolds of Laurel, MS is second with 648 points based on his 16 best finishes in 22 starts.

Dallas Mozingo of Laurel, MS is third with 634 points based on his 16 best finishes in 20 starts. Steve Godsey of Bedford, IN is fourth with 631 points in 15 starts, and Larry Murphy of Meridian, MS is fifth with 621 points in 15 starts. Jamie Pickard of Columbus, MS is sixth with 585 points in 14 starts, and Tony Shelton of Steens, MS is seventh with 581 points in 16 starts.

Mark Tice of Hollandale, MS is eighth with 574 points in 15 starts, and Shannon Lee of Lumberton, MS is ninth with 562 points in 15 starts. Jim Moon of Zionsville, IN rounds out the top ten of the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series with 549 points in 15 starts.

In other StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region action over the weekend, John Maxey of Smithville, MS took his first win of the season on Saturday night at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS.

Another first time winner was the “designated driver” of Herman Reynolds’ #9 with Ricky Hankins of Hattiesburg, MS, who taking the win on Friday night at Southern Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS. Southern Speedway will award double StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region points, and track points this Friday night.

West Region competitors can use this opportunity to net some valuable Regional points, as there are some close point races in the top six positions of the Region, as the series winds down for the 2007 season. The StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series competition for 2007 ends on September 30, and the top six drivers in each Region will tap into their respective Regional point funds.

There was no racing in the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series East Region over the weekend, as Penton Raceway in Penton, AL was rained out on Friday night, and Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL was rained out on Saturday night.

Yates has 722 points in 15 starts, and Jimmy Elkins Jr. of Talladega, AL is second in the StormPay.com WRS East Region with 688 points based on his 16 best finishes in 23 starts. Chad Wallace of LaGrange, GA is third with 670 points based on his 16 best finishes in 18 starts, and Adam Martin of Talladega, AL is fourth with 637 points in 15 starts.

Curtis Cline of Douglasville, GA is fifth in the East Region with 637 points in 16 starts, and Dustin Stewart of Eastaboga, AL is sixth with 591 points in 15 starts. Parrish Duncan of Newnan, GA is seventh with 582 points in 15 starts.

Darel Ownbey of Calhoun, GA is eighth with 552 points in 13 starts. Corey Korreckt of Lincoln, AL is ninth with 546 points in 15 starts, and Marc Gooden of Lafayette, AL rounds out the top ten in the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series East Region with 530 points in 14 starts.
