Reynolds was the winner on Friday night at Southern Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS to lead the West Region, and Wilson won on Saturday night at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL to lead the East Region.
A total of 201 different Crate Late Model drivers have competed in StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series competition over the past 10 weeks, and are earning both track points and regional points during the 24-week season. A driver’s top 16 finishes will count towards their StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series Regional total.
The top two point drivers at each StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series track will be eligible to compete in the $5,000-to-win StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series National Championship Race at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, FL on December 15.
Reynolds, who has 479 points, leads Talbert Goldman, who has competed at six different StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series tracks, by 16 points. Tony Albright of Clarksville StormPay.com Speedway in Clarksville, TN is third in the West Region with 399 points. Landon Frith is fourth with 393 points earned at Swinging Bridge Raceway in Jackson, MS and Pike County Speedway in McComb, MS.
Young gun Steven Ashby was the winner on Saturday night at Thunderhill Raceway in Lawrenceburg, TN to settle into the fifth spot in the West Region with 348 points. Ashby has also earned points at Clarksville StormPay.com Speedway.
Owen Stockstill is sixth with 345 points competing at Pike County Speedway, Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS, and Southern Speedway. Kevin Watts of Pike County Speedway is seventh with 344 points, and Jarrette Gunn is eighth with 332 points earned at Swinging Bridge Raceway, Pike County Speedway, and Columbus Speedway in Columbus, MS.
Brian Caudle of Clarksville StormPay.com Speedway is ninth with 329 points, and is tied with Doug Todd of Swinging Bridge Raceway and Whynot Motorsports Park to round out the top ten in the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region.
