Street stock for Tri-City

I just sold my pro-4 car that I ran at Pevely and I'm going to get a car to run in the street stock class at Tri-City. I will be new to this class/track so I was wondering what would be the best approach, if I should buy one already put together, or start fresh and build my own. Any ideas or tips would be greatly appreciated.
