SUMMERNATIONALS IS A GO FOR FRIDAY!!!!!

Weather is looking a lot better than predicted going into tomorrow's 4@office 40 SummerNationals!

Next up are $10,000 to-win races at Tri-City Speedway in Granite City on Friday and Fairbury American Legion Speedway on Saturday, weather permitting. UMP Modifieds and B Modifieds will race with the Late Models at Granite City as the series tries to beat the weather.

The Summit Modified Nationals will join the Late Models, racing for $1,000 to-win, along with the
B-Modifieds for $1,000 to-win. General admission is $30, Kids 12 & Under FREE, with pit passes $40 and kids pit passe ages 12 & under $15. 4@office is the title sponsor for this race, with more information available at www.tricityspeedway.net.

The top 2 drivers in career wins on the tour are battling once again for the title, with Billy Moyer and Shannon Babb only separated by 5 points coming into this weekend. It appears Moyer will attempt to secure his record 7th series title in a season where his schedule has been limited.

3-time and defending Summernationals champion Bobby Pierce has joined the tour this week as the Lucas series takes the weekend off. Pierce faces a 30-day suspension from all UMP races and $28,970 in fines after one of his tires was found to contain an illegal substance from a sample taken from the Dream 100 at Eldora Speedway. Pierce has filed an appeal, which will be heard next Monday, so he will be allowed to compete until the appeal is heard by UMP.
