CORONA, CA (August 4, 2010) - Sunoco Race Fuels will again be the title sponsor of this weekend's mega event, the "Sunoco Race Fuels North/South 100" Presented by Lucas Oil at Florence Speedway in Union, KY. This event will pay a whopping $50,000 to the winner and $2,500 to start in the 100-lap feature event. Sunoco Race Fuels the "Official Fuel" of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series has been a strong supporter of dirt late model racing and is excited to be a part of one of the crown jewel events in dirt late model racing next weekend in Kentucky.
Bazell Race Fuels, a Sunoco Race Fuels distributor will be at the event as support to all the racers that attend the event and continues its partnership with Florence Speedway and the King family that own and operate the facility. Sunoco Race Fuels will have a booth setup in the vendor row for fans to come by and receive some cool free stuff and receive a ticket for a grand prize drawing. Sunoco will award one lucky fan a Sunoco Race Fuels prize package on Saturday just before the start of the feature event. In addition the fan that is selected for the grand prize will be a special grand marshal of the event and will make the call "Gentlemen Start Your Engines" over the PA system.

The driver that accumulates the most Sunoco points during the year will be awarded a special cash award at the series year-end banquet.
The 28th Annual Sunoco Race Fuels North/South 100 Presented by Lucas Oil Products will be held at Florence Speedway in Union, KY from August 12th-14th. Activities will get underway on Thursday Night, August 12th with an open practice session. Then on Friday Night, August 13th action will get underway with the Red Buck Cigars Time Trials for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. The weekend will conclude on Saturday Night, August 14th with six heat races, B-Mains, and the 100-lap main event
