(10/1/08) -- Tim McCreadie, second generation racer, son of legendary Big Block Modified star BAREFOOT Bob McCreadie, is making his own name in the Dirt Super Late Model ranks and is coming into his own in the National RANKINGS as of late. Earning six (6) Top 5's in the past six (6) weeks of competition, not to mention $85,000. in winners money, the 2006 World of Outlaw Late Model series champ is 'roof pounding' his way around the country with his # 39 'Sweetners PLUS, Weld Racing, Sunoco Race Fuels' sponsored Rocket / Pro Power machine. Saturday night T-MAC got over the $20GRAND hump, when he pocketed his richest paying victory at the Knoxville (IA) Raceway Late Model Nationals. The $40,000. victory also gives McCreadie DOUBLE STAKKED points in the Top 5 National RANKINGS standings, which rates all $10,000. or higher paying SLM races. The M.O.B. (Moyer, Owens and Bloomquist) is still in the same standing as neither THE O'SHOW nor MR. SMOOTH could seal the deal, while BLACK SUNSHINE seemed to never be in contention. The GEORGIA GIANT Shane Clanton also came up short allowing a complete Southern RANKINGS domination of the $20,008 race down in Mississippi.

Chub Frank atleast gets runner up nods in the National RANKINGS for coming in 2nd to his neighbor at McKean Co. Raceway in Pennsylvania. The second place run for CHUBZILLA is his 5th this season and he is still the highest ranked racer to have NOT collected a $10,000. or higher victory in 2008. KID-ROCKET Josh Richards got second at Knoxville as weekend dominator Darrell Lanigan fell from competition even before the parade lap at the fifty-four (54) year old facility. Former NASCAR champion Tony Stewart was in contention early, but fell from competition. NASCAR racer backed Shannon Babb (Clint Bowyer) finished a strong 3rd place, with Jimmy Mars and Rick Eckert picking up bonus points for their respective Top 5 finishes. This weekend of National RANKINGS followed events doesn't end Saturday night as per the norm. A pair of two-nighters kick-off Friday with an event apiece in Davenport, Iowa and Cumberland, Maryland. The Rome (GA) Speedway hosts the Lucas Oil Dirt series on Friday paying $10,000., with her sister track Dixie Speedway hosting the SHOOT-OUT the next night in nearby Woodstock, Georgia. The WoOLM series is in action Tuesday and Wednesday in with events in North Carolina respectfully wrapping up the action.
