POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. - (September 1, 2006) Terry Phillips captured first place and $3,000 Friday night at the Poplar Bluff Speedway during a special MARS Late Model feature race. Wendall Wallace was second with Jack Sullivan third, Jeff Floyd fourth and Jeremy Payne fifth. They were followed by Justin Wells, Will Vaught, Bill Frye, Stacey Taylor and Billy Moyer.
In the Modified class feature, Scott Weber of Festus was the winner with Josh Hughes second, Billy Smith third, Robert Powers fourth and Troy Fowler fifth. They were followed by Brent Thompson, Shane Moody, Greg Hughes, Jason Hughes and Austin Matthews.
In the Super Street feature, Claudie Cook picked up the checkered flag with Tony Anglin second, Jared Wagster third, Doug Moore fourth and Jason Pennington fifth. They were followed by Jimmy Cornell, Jamie Robards, Jason Palmer, Paul Reeder and Scott Wicker.
In the Pure Street feature, Chris Cannon was the winner with Mark Todd second, Robert Williams third, Jimmy Casey fourth and Rob Lee fifth. They were followed by Jacob Black, David Wofford Jr., Brad Mashek, Derek Lee and Skip Holman.
In the Dwarf car feature, John Leahy was the winner with Jeff Asher second, Brad Paquet third, Wayne Arnold fourth and Bobby Black fifth. They were followed by Jim Black, Mike Zaricor, Aaron Bell and Justina Asher.
In the 2-Man Crusier feature, the team of Brown/Dunning was the winner with Retherford/Reece second, Foster/Horton third, Ridgon/Rigdon fourth and Hanley/Michaels fifth.
