Just a reminder to everyone that Semo Raceway's Test and Tune Swap meet is THIS SATURDAY March 22nd. Gates open at 12:00 NOON. Bring your items that you have to sell or trade. The concession stand will be open. For more information please call 573-471-8701. Saturday morning if by chance we are rained out there will be an announcement on the answering machine at the track office 573-472-2555 please use this number for upcoming racing information as well as the website. The website is updated daily with current information.

Press release for March 22nd, 2003 Test & Tune Day

Semo Raceway, located on State Highway U Sikeston MO, "officially" kicked off the 2003 racing season Saturday, March 22nd, with a "Test & Tune and "Swap Meet" for all our loyal racers. The weather could not have been any better for the 75 plus kart and micro sprint entries with racers and their families and pit crews coming from Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee & Arkansas as well as our local Missourians. The Test and Tune is a special day for race teams to come out and test their Karts and Micro Sprints and to get a feel for the track. Many were also preparing for the upcoming added money shows to be held at Semo Raceway on April 5th & April 12.
Karts, Micro Sprints and ATV's will be sharing the 2003 calendar's Saturday night racing season at the Semo Raceway's 1/5 mile semi banked oval dirt track where you will find racers ranging in ages of 6 year old beginners to 70+ year old veterens

Sonny & Shirley James, are happy to announce that they are back in full management and ownership of the Semo Raceway that has been serving race teams and motorsports fans since 1997. They would like to welcome everyone to come out and visit their Season Openers on April 5th where 3 classes of Micro Sprints will be competing for a purse of over $8,000 and on April 12th when 12 classes of Karters will be competing for a purse of over $13,000. The entire season will be filled with lots of great racing action designed to please any motorsports fan. Anyone interested can call the Track phone at 573-472-2555 for the latest upcoming events.
