(Plymouth, IN) It's time to get that race car in gear and practice on the dirt at Plymouth Speedway on Saturday, April 19.

Open practice is being offered to all drivers who would like to get their car ready for the 2014 season. Gates will open at noon and practice will begin at 2 p.m. Teams are welcome to run on the dirt until 6 p.m. ET.

This open practice time is not just for drivers – it's for the fans too! General admission for the practice session is FREE. There will be a $20 charge for access into the pits.

The Plymouth Speedway staff has been working hard the entire off season to make 2014 the best year yet at the track. One of those changes includes the food. The concessions are new and the prices are family affordable. Concessions will be offered Saturday so stay the whole day and sample what's new on the menu.

The first race of the 2014 season will be the Cabin Fever event on Saturday, April 26 with a regular show at 6 p.m. ET with the UMP Modifieds, Thunder Stocks, Street Stocks and 600 Open Sprints.
