B-Mod Fall Nationals is This Weekend
Oct 1 2014 (Highland IL) The time is fast approaching for the Inaugural Lester Robertson Memorial B-Mod Fall Nationals being held this Friday and Saturday Oct 3 & 4 at the Highland Speedway.
Drivers from across the Mid-West are making plans to attend the largest payout race ever for this newly formed class.
One of the many story lines that have developed in the past weeks was the announcement that the entry fee has be reduced to $30 because of additional sponsorship.
The $2000.00 to win show and $150 to start is the largest payout to date for this upstart class.
Expecting to participate is 2014 Highland Speedway Points Champion Rob Lee as well as Steve Ellison, TJ Eilers, Justin Durbin and also confirmed is Trista Stevenson driving the number 3E, owned by her uncle.
In addition a gamblers race has been added on Saturday for those not making the feature event.
Also schedules for the two day event will be Street stocks and Hornets
.
Spectators will enjoy these highly competitive classes of drivers plus the fan friendly admission price of $8.00 will make this final race of the 2014 season at the Highland Speedway a must see.
Concessions will feature rib eye sandwiches, cold beer and soda, Friday night after the races we'll be "partying in the pits" with live entertainment.
Overnight camping is available plus breakfast will be served at the track Saturday morning.
This big year end race event starts Friday with gates opening at 4:00, hot laps and qualifying for the B-Mods get under way at 7:00. Heat races and Dash's will be featured plus a few surprises that will make things interesting for both racers, pit members and spectators.
Saturday gates open at 3:00 with hot laps starting at 5, the night's activities include consolation races for all classes plus a gamblers race for non qualifiers in the B-Mod division, then the evening tops off with features for all 3 classes including the 60 lap main event for the B-Mods, crowing the Inaugural winner of the Lester Robertson Memorial B-Mod Fall Nationals.
