Just Spreading The Word
Farmer City, IL (April 25, 2009) After finishing second in his heat race, "The MoonMan" Jim Moon drove his GM Performance Parts "604" powered ROCKET Chassis Crate Late Model to his third Feature Win in as many weeks at the famed high-banks of the Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, IL.
Jim Moon and the MoonMan Racing team had planed to attend Vermilion County Speedway this Saturday, but after going three-for-three in UMP Pro (Crate) Late Model competition the team has decided to attend Spoon River Speedway in Canton, Il, on Saturday night instead of the originally scheduled visit to VCS.
"We have run three races with the UMP Crates and have had some great runs in those three races, so we are going to commit the rest of the weekend to racing UMP shows, we'll see how things shake out from there" said Moon after the Feature Event last night in Farmer City. "If things go right, we may just continue going after UMP points for awhile" Moon went on to say.
Jim Moon and the MoonMan Racing Team will be in action tonight at Spoon River Speedway and Shepp's Speedway on Sunday to finish up the weeks racing action.
As always, race fans are invited to stop by the MoonMan Racing pit area after the races and visit Jim and the entire MoonMan Racing Team. While visiting be sure and pick up the new MoonMan Racing decal.
