Camargo, IL (February 28, 2009) - Jason Shank – O'Reilly All Star Late Model Series Director

The O'Reilly All Star Late Model Series has hit the Dirt Late Model world by storm this off-season and shows no signs of slowing down. First, Series President Guy Webb bought out the now defunct Independent Racing Series (IRS), then announced a lucrative $50,000 guaranteed points fund including a tow money package for the top ten in ASLMS points leading to a total points fund of close to $150,000, and are now, with the help of America's #1 online Dirt Late Model news source, DirtonDirt.com, are releasing an impressive twenty plus race schedule that will eventually expand to close to thirty and will hit eight states including Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.

"Guy (Webb) did a fantastic job getting the schedule put together for 2009," commented Series Director Jason Shank. "The schedule seems to travel well for the series staff and drivers, we will be racing to and from events. With the fluctuation of fuel costs and not knowing what they will be during the summer months, that is a huge component in what we, as a series, were trying to accomplish." Shank continued, "The schedule is also not complete, we have up to ten additional events that are as close as crossing some T's and dotting some I's away from being finalized. Those events will be released as soon as they are firm."

Highlights of the schedule include the inaugural event at Sarver, PA's Lernerville Speedway, a $7,000 and $10,000 to win events at Tim Bainey's Central PA Speedway, the ''Jim Dunn Memorial'' at Midway Speedway, multiple race weekends in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio as well as the ‘Fall Classic’ at Virginia's Natural Bridge Speedway. The schedule is also not complete. The Series expects to be around 30 events total for the 2009 season.
