The O'Reilly MLRA Presented by Lucas Oil Products Heads to the Nevada Speedway this Saturday, June 1

Buckner, MO (June 10th, 2009)-Coming off a thrilling 40 lap green white checkered affair at Lucas Oil Speedway last weekend, the O'Reilly MLRA Presented by Lucas Oil Products sets it's sights on the Nevada Speedway bullring in Nevada, Missouri this Saturday, June 13th. The Annual Bushwacker Days in Nevada also takes place June 10th-13th. Bring the whole family out for some some great Live Music, Carnival rides, Historic Reenactments and the Best Super Dirt Late Model Racing in the Midwest!

Gates open at 5:30 this Saturday night with Hot Laps at 7:00pm and racing scheduled to get underway at 7:30. Adult General admission is just $15.00 with kids (6-11) just $4.00. Kids 5 and under are admitted free to the speedway. Factory Stocks and Modifieds will also be in action.

The Nevada Speedway is located just off US Highway 71. Take the Camp Clark Exit, Go West to 1st Stop Light, Turn South on Barrett, Go 1/2 mile to Main Gate. Coffeville, Kansas' Al Purkey continues to lead the MLRA season long points standings with a narrow 24 point lead over Alan Vaughn. John Anderson sits in the third spot only 4 points behind Vaughn with Mendon, Illinois' Denny Woodworth occupying the fourth spot. Long time MLRA campaigner and Adrian, Missouri resident David Turner rounds out the Top-5 with 236 points.

Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer Joe Kosiski slipped back to the sixth spot this week with Jeremy Payne and Eric Turner now tied for seventh, both with 222 markers. Mike Collins occupies the ninth spot and Terry Phillips jumped from 16th to tenth with his win last weekend at Lucas Oil Speedway. Click Here for complete and updated MLRA Points Standings.

The O'Reilly MLRA will take a two-week hiatus after this weekend as they prepare for the huge Independence Day "Freedom Tour". The Tour will kick off on Thursday night July 2nd at the I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska. The Park Jefferson Speedway in Park Jefferson, South Dakota will welcome the O'Reilly MLRA for the first time on Friday night, July 3rd. The "Freedom Tour" will wrap up with a huge Independence Day show at the Adams County Speedway in Corning, Iowa on Saturday night, July 4th. Make your plans now to attend all three events and celebrate the Independence Day Holiday with the O'Reilly MLRA!
The O'Reilly MLRA (Midwest Latemodel Racing Association) presented by Lucas Oil sanctions regional Super Dirt Late Model touring series events in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and even one in South Dakota.
