Bradford, OH - "The Sniper" Wayne Chinn and the Chinn Motorsports/Erwin Chrysler Dodge Jeep/Sugar Creek Packing/1 Shot Graphics/AWP of Ohio/Dargie Powered/Rayburn Race Car had a very busy and productive Memorial Day weekend, racing at three different venues, in two different states, brining home three top ten finishes. Highlighting the holiday weekend was Chinn's second victory of the 2008 season, as Chinn dominated the field at Moler Raceway Park, located just outside of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Things would not start out good for the "The Sniper" on Friday night. After looking very impressive in hot laps, a problem was discovered in the rear of the car, just prior to the start of the heat race's, forcing Chinn to scratch from the event, and finish last. The Chinn Motorsports crew wasted no time, pulling out the back up car and began preparing it for the twenty-five lap feature, scheduled later in the evening. As the field rolled onto the track "The Sniper" Wayne Chinn lined up in the 19th and final position. At the drop of the green, the Erwin Chrysler Dodge Jeep/Sugar Creek Packing/1 Shot Graphics/AWP of Ohio/Dargie Powered/Rayburn Race Car appeared as if it were shot from a cannon, passing six cars on the very first lap. On lap six the caution waved for the first time for a car spinning in turn two and the field bunched back up with "The Sniper" already racing his way to the fifth position.

When the green flag flew, Chinn made the move to fourth in turn one, then blasted past third place in the next turn and would set his sights on the leaders. Coming to the start finish line "The Sniper" would do the unthinkable and take the lead on lap eight, completing the worst to first run. As the crowd cheered his blistering pace, Chinn would go on a rampage, lapping several cars multiple times, and was right behind the second and third place drivers when the checkers dropped. For "The Sniper" Wayne Chinn it was his second feature win of the 2008 season, and his second career win at the Moler Raceway Park.

With the Ralph Latham Memorial on tap next weekend, the Chinn Motorsports team decided to roll into the legendary Florence Speedway for a regular Saturday night show for a chance to get some track time and experiment before next weekend's Lucas Oil Late Model Series event. Chinn again would find himself marching from the rear of the field, as he started in the back of his qualifying heat race, and quickly worked his way into the third position, transferring into the thirty lap feature. In the feature, "The Sniper" would rim ride around the Florence Speedway, and chase fellow Lucas Oil Late Model Series regular Scott James, and former Florence Speedway track champion Jesse Lay for the majority of the race, before bringing home the Erwin Chrysler Dodge Jeep/Sugar Creek Packing/1 Shot Graphics/AWP of Ohio/Dargie Powered/Rayburn Race Car in the third position.

Sunday night, "The Sniper" Wayne Chinn returned home, to Eldora Speedway for the 39th Annual Johnny Appleseed Classic, presented by the ALMS Series. "The Sniper" would continue this Eldora success, qualifying in second place, thus putting him on the outside pole for his heat race. For the second time this season, Chinn would finish second to Matt Miller in a heat race at Eldora Speedway, guaranteeing himself a starting spot in the twenty-five lap Johnny Appleseed Classic. During the feature event Chinn would start in the eighth position and after fading early, would race his way back towards the front, finishing exactly where he started, in the eighth position.

"The Sniper" Wayne Chinn's sights are now turned to a duo of weekend's Lucas Oil Late Model Series events set to be contested this weekend. The ultra competitive Hilltop Speedway in Millersburg, Ohio welcomes the Lucas Series for the first time ever on Friday night, with a $7,000 to win event.
