Benton, Mo; Jerry Wolsey Racing Promotions, LLC presented one outstanding racing event at the Auto Tire and Parts NAPA Racepark Saturday evening, one that fans will talk about for a long time. In one of the closest finishes in the history of the Racepark fans witnessed Brent Thompson of Ste Gen, Missouri
win the UMP Modified Feature by inches at the finish line holding off a hard charging second place finisher Josh Cherry followed by Mark Chary, Bob Timmons, and Leo Kiefer rounding out the top five.
The 2002 Defending Sprint Champion Robbie Stanridge of Springfield, Illinois won the Outlaw Wing Sprint feature followed by Shawn King of Cape Girardeau, and Todd Rowland of Jackson, Missouri. The Pure Street Stock feature winner was Craig Casey of Sikeston, Missouri and in the Cruiser Division the team of Horton/Foster won the main event in the Cruiser Class. Overall, it was a very exciting night of racing at the Racepark which was enjoyed by all in attendance. The next scheduled racing event by Jerry Wolsey Racing Promotions, LLC at the Auto Tire and Parts NAPA Racepark will be this Saturday June 14th when the MARA Midgets will show for the first time this year along with the Outlaw Wing Sprints, UMP Modifieds, Pure Street Stock, and Cruisers. Also, this Saturday June 14th at the Racepark for every adult admission ticket purchased the fan will receive one adult admission free. Racing action will get underway at 7:00 P.M.
