Walker 24 Tammy and Kevin can be found anytime on Friday nights. Tammy's at the line up board all night and Kevin's in the pit area
Our bleachers are walked weekly, inspected and replaced as needed. Safety is always our first concern. Replacing our bleachers is a cost of $400,000 or more we are constantly trying to update our facility and do the best we can.
 
B-Mod checks from last week driver's decided to wait and pick up their checks this Friday some stayed and waited until after tech and
received their checks. We had a few driver's leave and didn't want to wait for tech to be over and asked that their checks be mailed.
Were trying to accommodate everybody with payoff and teching if I didn't get your check out this week I apologize. Your more than welcome anytime during the week if you can come to the track and pick up your check if your live in the area.

Were asking from know on all driver's wait and pick up there checks or get them the next time they race and we will not be mailing checks to avoid any further situations.

What situation are you trying to avoid? A show that lasts passed midnight and tech that ended closer to 12:45-1? A racer who was told his check would be mailed and that didn't happen on not one but two separate occasions? Plain and simple the racers are the show no matter the class they drive, and if promoters continue to do things like promise mailed checks and not deliver they will probably see less racers weekly.
 
Your correct! We added the B-Mods to give them a night to race and we should have kept it to 3 classes.

Scotty member? I have 3 checks to mail what is your name and car# to send it today?

I agree with the 3 classes. Personally my favorite show of the year. Great diversity, and usually a few suprise drivers on each class!
 
You owe me $0 was referencing Wahoo's post and his non payment issues, as well as the greater issue which is keeping the racers happy and returning weekly which we agree on. Have a great weekend off from Tri City maybe you will get to go with Gordy racing someplace different
 
all this not getting checks from tri city is nothing new. this is the 3rd or 4th time this subject has come up with this track over time. Some things just don't change

True that. You would think if this were a real problem with the promoter there would be a lot more people on here complaining about it. Kinda weird it's only certain, select people that seem to be having problems getting their checks.

Let's see, 100 racers, 100 checks, 1 complainer every now and then griping after admitting they didn't want to get their check the way the other 99 do and then it's some big issue with the promoter.

You are so right. Some things never change.... Some folks will always immediately blame someone else when they don't get what they want the way they want it when they want it.

Simple answer. Stay until you get your check. Everyone else seems to be able to do it smoothly without all these issues, you'd think if you didn't get paid you'd figure out what you're doing differently that is resulting in you not getting your check. Or you could just keep griping on the internet and blaming other people, that works really well too...

Last year at the end of the season we ran the big bmod show. Didn't make the show had an emergency at home. Took my transponder to the track official at the lineup board he put my transponder in the transponder box and sad the track would mail me my tow money check. Never received it. Track said check would be at the payout the following week. We ran the following week with somebody else driving our car. Dad went up to get the previous week's check and guess what they didn't have it. Still waiting on that check. And as to last week, I would have stayed another 30-40 mins but Tammy said check would be mailed on Monday to those who wanted to leave. I turned my transponder in and left. Never received my check once again. Track told me it would be mailed. I'm not the only one this has happened to there. I'm just one who will speak about it. This seems to be a common problem. The track needs to honor what they say they will do. Guess word to the wise don't leave the track without getting paid or you probably will never see your check
 
And we didn't ask to have checks mailed Tammy offered to mail them if we didn't want to stay. I chose to leave cause I had class early Saturday morning.
 
T.nic. My post was not kicking at the racers that did not get money owed to them. We have been down that path with tri city
And got just what they got lip service. Hence why we race at other area tracks that don't stiff there racers.

Revin, I have raced with your organization in the past at Lake Ozark Speedway as well as TriCity and I am very aware that both you and Kevin are very visible throughout the night. I was being sarcastic to the person who started the thread with what I thought was unnecessary public bashing.

Just kind of curious why you are expecting a check for tow money? You chose to leave! You wasnt asked to leave, you left on your own! I get it that you had a emergency at home but you left on your own free will! Why should a track pay you for that? Im sorry but in my opinion you have nothing coming!

The big bmod show last year advertised $40 tow money for those who didn't make the show. We didn't make the show had an emergency at home. Never received our money.

You say didnt make the show...did you not make the show because you left or you ran the b main and didnt make the show? Which is it? If you left before the b main then of course your not going to get tow money! Thats common sense!
 
I was told twice last year that tow money would be in form of a free pass for next week (by Tammy) and would be at pit shack next week only to have girl at pit shack act like she had NO idea what I was talking about when I got there.. Love Tc but need to honor what they say. Also, love watching the Bmods thanks for adding them. Some of the only real racing left. Jmo
