(Macon, IL) Bring your camera to Macon Speedway this Saturday Night for your chance to get your photo taken next to the #20 Tony Stewart Home Depot show car. The show car will be on display from 5-8 pm. George Mueller Distributing will be the sponsor for this week’s Lite Beer Twin 50’s. The evening will consist of two 50 lap features, one for the Chevrolet UMP Late Model division and the other for the Barbeck Communications UMP Modified division. Macon speedway is proud to be giving both divisions an increase in their weekly feature payout. The Chevrolet Late Models will be racing back to the checkered for $1,500 to win, while the Barbeck Communications UMP Modifieds will battle for $750 to win. The Lite Beer Twin 50’s will also include our other weekly divisions; Hogan Grain/Kubota Sportsman, Street Stocks and Pro and Amateur Hornets.
Don’t forget to show your support for the Modified drivers as one lucky Modified driver will once again be drawn to choose his or her Best Fan in the Stands. If you are the fan that they choose that night you will win $100, so be creative and show your support for the modified division. We will be hosting another Kenny’s Car Giveaway on July 5 sponsored by Ewing Auto Sales. Next week Macon Speedway will bring in over 15 NASCAR drivers for out Night of NASCAR Stars II presented by the US ARMY on Thursday, June 12. The evening will consist of NASCAR Stars competing in a Modified race and our Hogan Grain/Kubota Sportsman and UMP Street Stock divisions will also be in attendance. Our gates will open at 3:00 with the NASCAR stars qualifying at 6:30 and the races beginning at 7:00 pm. Plenty of seats are still available by calling our office at 217-764-3000.
