Tony Stewart Racing Enterprises Readies For USAC Doubleheader

Center Line, Mich. — Team Mopar’s trio of Josh Wise, Levi Jones and Kyle Nicholas are set to take to the dirt and pavement in USAC National Sprint Car Series competition this weekend. The Tony Stewart Racing Enterprises team will roll into Lawrenceburg Speedway and Winchester Speedway on Saturday and Sunday, seeking their first USAC National Sprint Series victories of the season.

Wise and the No. 20 Tony Stewart Racing Enterprises team will look to add to their stats totals in this week’s doubleheader. The team has earned one Top-five finish and two Top-10 finishes thus far in 2006. The 2005 USAC National Midget Car Series champion will also seek his first sprint series title. Wise is currently third in USAC National Sprint Car Series points.

Jones and the No. 21 Tony Stewart Racing Enterprises team will be seeking their second USAC Sprint Series victory of 2006. Jones won a USAC/CRA Sprint Series event in January at Manzanita Speedway. The team has also earned one Top-five finish and three Top-10 finishes this season. The 2005 USAC National Sprint Car Series champion is currently ranked fourth in series points.

Nicholas and the No. 29 Tony Stewart Racing Enterprises team will make their first national series dirt start of the 2006 season at Lawrenceburg Speedway. The event at Winchester Speedway will mark the rookie driver’s second pavement start this year.
