and 600cc Mini Sprints!



Macon, IL – Macon Speedway is ready to spice up the track this Saturday, May 4th with their annual Cinco de Mayo Fiesta Night featuring Topless Modifieds and an appearance of the 600cc Mini Sprints. The Mini Sprints will have the opportunity to collect extra money due to a special two-race points fund. The top five places will be awarded extra money from points accumulated over the two days racing at Jacksonville Speedway on Friday and at Macon Speedway on Saturday.

Also racing that night will be Billingsley Towing UMP Modifieds, UMP Sportsman, UMP Street Stocks, UMP Outlaw 4-cylinder Hornets and Stock Hornets. There will also be a Jalapeno eating contest during intermission to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.

The first Crazy Kid’s Blow Out will be this Saturday, May 4th. We will have Cubs vs. Cards night for the kids. Wear your favorite team’s colors and each team will have their picture taken in victory lane during the track-wide autograph session. Be sure not to miss out as we will have drawings, games, candy, sports, arts, and crafts from 5-7 pm, then followed by the autograph session and pictures on the track around 7:30. Everything in the Kid’s Castle Crazy Kid’s Club is FREE, so bring your kids for a value filled night.

Macon Speedway will open their pits at 4:00 pm. Hot laps are at 6:00 pm with racing at 7:00 pm. Adult general admission tickets are $12 and kids 11 & under are still free

Macon Speedway is located 9 miles south of Decatur, IL on US 51 then 1/2 mile west on Andrews Street, then South on Wiles.
