Track Enterprises Ready for Full Weekend of Racing in Farmer City and Springfield

ILLINOIS STATE FAIR - USAC SILVER CROWN & ARCA CAR SERIES THIS WEEKEND

On Saturday, August 16, 2003 the USAC Silver Crown cars will run the
Tony Bettenhausen 100 on the famous one-mile dirt oval during the
Illinois State Fair in Springfield, Illinois. The day will consist of
practice at 9:00 a.m., Silver Crown qualifying at 10:25 a.m. and the races
will begin at 12:45 p.m. Last years USAC Silver Crown winner was J.J.
Yeley.

The ARCA/REMAX Car Series will be in action as they run the Allen Crowe
Memorial on Sunday, August 17, 2003. The Allen Crowe Memorial will
consist of drivers in the ARCA division running 100 laps on the one-mile
dirt oval; Frank Kimmel of Jefferson, Indiana was the winner of the
Allen Crowe Memorial in 2002.

The Wynn's Sportsman Nationals will also be held on Sunday, August
17th. The Sportsman division will run a last chance-qualifying race along
with their feature event. Last year’s winner Jeff Leka of Buffalo is
sure to be on hand as the Sportsman cars race for the Wynn's Sportsman
Nationals Championship title. Sunday will consist of practice at 9:00
a.m., the ARCA Cars will be qualifying for the Allen Crowe Memorial at
10:30 a.m. and the races are scheduled to begin at 12:15 p.m.

Grandstand ticket prices for the Saturday, August 16, 2003 Tony
Bettenhausen 100 and the Sunday, August 17 ARCA Allen Crowe Memorial are as
follows: Adults: $20.00 and Children 11 and under: $10.00. Tickets may
be purchased at the Illinois State Fair ticket office

USAC – SCRA Non-Wing Sprints Invade The Farmer City Raceway
Friday, August 15

The exciting non-wing sprint cars are set to do battle on the fast ¼
mile oval at the Farmer City Raceway, located in Farmer City, IL, this
Friday night, August 15th. Fans will be treated to over 50 sprint cars
from USAC, SCRA and local drivers all converging in Farmer City for the
first time ever.

The event being billed as the sprint car showdown between the East and
West will include USAC drivers like J.J. Yeley, Jay Drake and Dave
Darland against SCRA drivers Richard Griffin, Corey Kruseman and many more.

Also, racing Friday night will be the UMP Modifieds and the Farmer City
Street Stocks.

Gates will open at 4:00 p.m. with practice at 6:30 and the racing
action will start at 7:30 p.m. Adult General Admission is $22.00 with
