Track Enterprises Releases Action Packed 2008 Schedule

Macon, IL - Track Enterprises, Inc. has released its 2008 schedule of special events. The schedule includes events at the Illinois State Fairgrounds, DuQuoin State Fairgrounds, Indiana State Fairgrounds, Paducah International Raceway, Quincy Raceway, LaSalle Speedway, Fairbury American Legion Speedway, Peoria Speedway, I-55 Raceway and Macon Speedway in Macon, IL.

The racing season kicks off with a Friday Night special as NASCAR star Tony Stewart will be at the Paducah International Raceway on March 28. Next up will be hot racing action at the Fairbury American Legion Speedway, Fairbury, IL on May 20 with a special appearance by NASCAR drivers. Then it’s on to Peoria Speedway, Peoria, IL on May 21 for a special NASCAR night featuring popular NASCAR drivers. The acclaimed 55th Annual Hoosier Hundred will be ran at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, Indianapolis, IN. on May 23. The racing action will then move on to Macon Speedway for the Northern Allstars on Monday, May 26. Paducah International Raceway will host the first leg of a three race series, the Tri-Track Challenge starting May 30 with a $5,000 to win Late Model feature. NASCAR stars Ken Schrader & Kenny Wallace will be back in central Illinois on June 10 when they will be in Quincy, IL for a Late Model and Modified special. The UMP Summernationals Tour will be back in Macon, IL this year on July 3 with a $6,000 to win feature event. Next up the UMP Summernationals Tour will be at LaSalle, IL on July 10. Following the spring events will be the traditional fair dates at the Illinois State Fairgrounds, Springfield, IL. The USAC Silver Crown Cars will be joined by the ARCA Truck Series on Saturday, August 16. The ARCA Car series along with the Sportsman Nationals will be held on Sunday, August 17. The ARCA Trucks and Crate Late Models will tear up the monster mile for a special race on Saturday, August 23 at the DuQuoin State fairgrounds, DuQuoin, IL. For the traditional fair races in DuQuoin, the USAC Silver Crown Cars will be racing on Sunday, August 31 under the lights again this year. The ARCA Cars will race on Monday, September 1, along with the UMP Modified cars running on both days. The action then shifts back to the LaSalle Speedway for the running of the 17th Annual Illinois Fall Nationals including the wheel-to-wheel action of both Late Model and Modified cars; this race is scheduled for Sunday, September 14.
