track promoters

I don't know the answer to that, but I do know there is more high tech stuff they are putting in the water..

I HEARD LAST YEAR OR THE YEAR BEFORE RAY MARLER(I55) MIXES SOME KINDA STUFF WITH THE WATER. ITS SUPPOSED TO HELP KEEP THE DUST DOWN. IN MY OPINON IT WORKS. CUZ I REMEMBER BACK IN THE DAY, THE DUST WAS REALLY BAD. BUT, NOW ITS NOT TO BAD AT ALL.

THERES NOWAY TO ELIMINATE IT. IT IS A DIRT TRACK, BUT IT DOES HELP. DEFINITELY MAKES IT A LOT MORE TOLARABLE.

Yes, I-55 use something in their water. But they don't use it every week. Apparently it last for two or three weeks when they use it.

It is some type of (i hate to use the word chemical) that farmers use on their soil I do believe.

Some other tracks have experimented with it I think, but it is VERY EXPENSIVE. I think somewhere around $2000 a drum.

They use about 5 or 10 gallons of it when they mix it with a water truck.

It DEFINITELY helps with the dust...

The stuff I think is called "breakthru". We used to use it at St.Charles when there was a big show. I think it is some type of liquid plastic maybe. I just remember it smells like plastic. It is expensive we were only suppose to use a couple of gallons to a watertruck tank

I think on the mile tracks for the day shows they use calcium chloride it helps keep the dust down ..........I hope this is correct:)

This is correct.... The Mixture is 2 gallons per load of water (approx 5,000 gal.)

The product cost about $1,895.00 per 55 gallon drum.
