anyone have results from last night? all I saw was the thread about the officials. also, what exactly happened to Kloos? thanks.

it was a major horsepower track last night, dick taylor beat krankle by 3 feet,x car was 3d,,every body was running over one another,,,

The 1A car slammed into the back of Kloos during a yield, on purpose. They were battling each other all race but still no reason for that. Dick Taylor won in the late models, Mosiel (spelling not for sure) in sportsman, and modified im not for sure. It was some goooood racing last night.

this is from 4m.net

Dale McDowell snuck in the backdoor at Tommy Helfrich's meticulously prepared TRI-STATE Speedway in Haubstadt, Indiana and emerged out the emergency exit with a $10,000 payday that was all but written to Billy Moyer.

McDowell rode the hub to victory by passing Moyer on lap 59 only to have Moyer volley back off of turn 2 to regain the lead. McDowell would overtake Moyer once more off of turn 4 heading for the checkered flag and lead the most important few feet of the event! Moyer who had taken the lead on lap 32 of the 60 lap event, started from the pole position and took the lead when Scott Bloomquist rode high into the turn in 1 and 2 after leading the previous 31 markers and looking strong.

McDowell who started in the eighth slot was unaware of who was leading the event and didn't even realize he had just taken the top prize until he got to the scale and was told to roll back onto the track to victory lane!

The evening began with Steve Francis recording the fast quailfier spot with a lap of 13.184, the best of the 26 cars on hand.

The heat races were won by Francis over Moyer, Rick Eckert, Scott James, Mike Balzano, Chub Frank, Shannon Babb, Steve Karnes and Jeremy Sneed, Bart Hartman over Bloomquist, McDowell, Rick Aukland, Darrel Lanigan, Kevin Claycomb, Duane Chamberlain, Tom Treadway and Clint Smith and the final heat going to Dan Schlieper over Timmy McCreadie, Dennis Erb, Josh Richards, Joe Morris, Tait Davenport, John Blankenship and Darrell Bex.

The consi to transfer the final 4 starters was a walk for Babb as he dominated the event over Smith, Chamberlain and Blankenship.

The dash to determine the first 6 starting positions was won by Moyer over Bloomquist, Schlieper, Hartman, Francis and McCreadie.

Kloos was not taken out but did do little damage. I think he finished like 6th or so. I came up next to the 1A on the way home and let him know that i felt that was uncalled for.
