Pontoon Beach, IL (April 17, 2006) Tri-City Speedway is pleased to announed their 2006 kart racing schedule. There will be six big events held on the 1/4 mile dirt oval at Tri-City Speedway with the first event being held on Saturday, May 13th.
There will be one event each month afterwards concluding on October 22nd with the 2nd Annual Fall Shootout. Other events will be held on June 10th, July 1st, August 26th and September 9th.
All events will have the following guaranteed purse:
Kid Karts - Trophies top 5
Junior 1 1-$100 2-$80 3-$60 4-$40 5-$20 250lb purple plate
Junior 2 1-$100 2-$80 3-$60 4-$40 5-$20 300lb gold plate
St Light 1-$200 2-$125 3-$100 4-$75 5-$50 320lb
St Medium 1-$200 2-$125 3-$100 4-$75 5-$50 345lb
St Heavy 1-$200 2-$125 3-$100 4-$75 5-$50 370lb
Open 1-$200 2-$125 3-$100 4-$75 5-$50 350lb No Duals or Shifter Karts
100CC Controlled (Can Class) 80% payback only for this class
(Light, Medium,Heavy) $200 Bonus to anyone that can “WIN” Stock Light, Stock Medium, Stock Heavy (All 3)
Run all 5 events up to the Shootout - will be entered in a special Dash paying $100 to win

Pit Pass - $10 Gates Open 10:00

Fuel Will Be Available at the Track Practice 12:00
