Pontoon Beach, IL - Tri-City Speedway held it's official grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, March 24th. Many of the Pontoon Beach city officials were on hand along with many track sponsors, employees and members of the media.
The track's first event will be Wednesday, March 30th when they have a Test & Tune session. The Test & Tune session will begin at 6:00 p.m. and wrap up around 9:00 p.m. The first racing event will be held on Sunday, April 3rd when the action is set to kick off at 6:00 p.m.
Tri-City Speedway is located just across the Mississippi River from St. Louis, MO in Pontoon Beach, IL. Take exit 4 off I-270 and go 1/2 mile south on SR 203.
