Trouble with SNS

I just got Sat. nite Speedway about a week ago for PS2 and I love the game but I was very dissapointed to see that it wasn't a DVD rom. It was a blue disk. I finished a season with a bomber and made enough money to get a late model. I got about 6 races into my second season and I'm at bristol. I run qualifying and get to the screen afterwards that says congratulations and your lap time. I hit the X button and it freezes up on that screen every time. I skipped qualifying after restarting the game. I won the second heat from the back and got to the congrats screen and when I hit X to proceed it froze again. The PS2 is brand new. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem? :(

I looked every where and then I went to mid rivers mall. I went in to EB Games and didn't see it so I asked the guy behind the counter and he looked it up on the computer. They had a few copies that were behind like 5 other games in the cabinet. I don't know why they've made such an awesome game so hard to find. Maverick, you should go there and see if they still have any left. They were hidden so ask the person who is working there.

I skipped Bristol, didn't have the problem anywhere else and when I came back to Bristol further in the season it happened again. I guess I just won't be able to race there, but thats really going to hurt me in the points.

i would email the company and tell them your problems.......maybe they can help ya out.....cause i have no clue

The freezing is a glitch in the program. Happens to me on the PC version as well. Exactly the same scenario!!! Bad news for you is that you can't get a patch. For PC there's a chance that the company may release a patch to fix this issue.

Its nice to know I am not the only one with that same exact problem. Other than some of the bad replies about it, I think its a great game even though it could have been a little better with more models of cars in the street stock class...At least they made an effort, and we have something rather than nothing...
