Does anyone know of anybody making these other than bob pierce chassis? Theres are already available for the nova style. Are there any others available?

He is the only one i've heard of that is making them in this area. Donnie Jumper at Impressive is thinking about making them but he doesn't know if he is going to do it. The way UMP has them regulated is a BIG pain in the A S S!!!! You have to PURCHASE the UMP legal stickers from UMP (kinda like IMCA's wheel stickers) which has to have a serial number matching a serial number stamped on the control arm which will be logged/recorded by UMP. Then they have to be sold at a set price range, set by UMP. If I remember right I believe it was $100 - $120 per control arm.

I have not heard if DirtWorks is going to make them but I bet they maybe will. You might give them a call.

Tubular a-rms are wrong

I believe the tubular a-arm thing is wrong. The metric lower a-arms are not hard to find yet. Even the 68-72 lowers are still around. I believe this is another way for UMP to line their pockets with the racers money. I know for a fact that those new a-arms can't have no more than $30 in parts, not including ball joint. I have seen these and looked at them real close. And for UMP to mandate a $120 for a pair of them could lead to price fixing couldn't it? Hell if Brodix would give UMP so many dollars, you would be able to run aluminum blocks this year. Just like Hoosier and Bert did. All I can say is,,just keep paying the price and UMP gets bigger and better to their standards. This class of cars is not getting out of hand, it already has. If I had the time and money, there would be another sanction of mods around the mid west, something that the average man could afford. I guarantee you that if didn't have to run Hoosiers, you could cut your tire bill into thirds. Just my feelings here, not to slam anyone in any way.
