St. Petersburg, Florida (08/22/17) – 15-year-old, Tyler Clem took his K&N Filters #14 Red Line Synthetic Oil Rocket Chassis Late Model to Victory Lane on Saturday night at Bubba Raceway Park.
The win was his sixth of 2017.
“It’s been a minute since we’ve won a race, so it felt great to pick up the win,” Clem said. “We were good at the drop of the green flag in the feature, and that allowed me to get to the lead pretty quick. From there I knew if I did my job that we should be in good shape. I want to thank my family, my sponsors, my team, and my fans for everything that they do to support me.”
Saturday night found Tyler Clem back in action at Bubba Raceway Park (Ocala, Florida), competing in the Late Model ranks. Improving three positions in his heat race, Tyler picked up a heat race victory positioning him third on the starting grid for the A-Main. Taking over the lead by fifth lap, Clem held off the field in the remaining distance of the feature to capture his sixth win of the season. Mike Kopka, Trevor Taylor, Caleb McGillivray, and Jonathan Thomas completed the Top-5 finishers.
