UMP Modifieds will highlight the opening night of the Bond County Fair in Greenville IL, Aug 5th. UMP Mods will race for $600 to win $60. to start.
This is an UMP santioned points race!

The race will be race #2 of The Steve Schmitt Super Summer Series presented by Dirt Track Insider .com (www.dirttrackinsider.com).

Sportsmen will be racing for $400 to win, Winged Micro's $350, Streetstock/Bombers $200, and both SOHC & DOHC Hornets $100. each.

Gates open at 4 pm
Hotlaps begins and pilldraw ends at 6:30 pm
Racing at 7 pm

Pit Passes $25.00
Grandstands Adults $10.
Students $5.
Kids 12 and under FREE with paid adult.

The Bond County Raceway is located on the Bond County Fairgrounds in Greenville IL. Exits #41 or #45 off I-70.

RACERS Please note: For this event you will enter the Fairgrounds from Ridge Street using the North East entrance of the fairgrounds. Signs wil be posted!

I have has several calls in the last few days, MUFFLERS are NOT required in any class racing at the Bond County Raceway. You may run them if you wish.

And remember, you cant beat the beer prices in the stands 'cause its bring your own!
 
Im almost positive that it will be pill draw and not qualifying!!!! It will be an exciting night of racing!!! I will be accepting bribs since im the front straight away tomorrow night!!! Money but i prefer beer!!!!! Im sure Dan and Dana will keep me in line!!!! LOL!!! See ya'll there, where gonna have fun since its pretty much all the old gang again!!! I've heard that with the driver's paid admission that 1 additional person gets in free. Is that true? Driver and 1 crew for $25?
 
Also, can someone tell me what the carburetor rules are for bombers? Is a Highland bomber legal at Greenville?
 
I'm sorry but the ladies in the Fair office are giving out the addmission for the Demo (which is Friday night).

Pit passes for the Stockcar Races tonight (Thursday) are $25.00 each.

Grandstand prices: Adults $10.00
Students $5.00
Children under 12 FREE with paid Adult

Bomber/Streetstock & Sportsmen rules are like Tri-City, Highland, and Godfrey.

Please any questions call me as the Fair office has little or no knowledge about the races, sheep, cows and pigs maybe, but for the stockcars races it's best to call me.

To answer a few more questions:
1. YES, WE are racing tonight!
2. Bombers must us stock 2bbl, no Holleys (See class Rules on www.dirttrackinsider under the posting Stev Schmitt Super Summer Series)
3. Mufflers are not required in any class
4. Window nets required in all classes except Modifieds were they are recomended but not required.
5. All classes will pill draw, which ends at 6:30 sharp.

Car was on rails!
Glad we got her fixed in time.
