did tri city go ump.if not do any of the drivers thank they should? they look like better rules. what changes did they make?

The street stocks at tri city, highland and belleville aren't even in the same ball park with the ump street stocks. You would be adding a lot of cost to the division if you went with a ump street stock sanction.

rules are about the same

the rules are real close and i think all tracks should go with one sanctioning.then we would be able to go run anywhere and not be under classed.it would not cost much.:D:D

Yes it would cost a bunch if you want a top flight UMP street stock. No the cars aren't that far apart rules wise, but other things like motors are. I'm good friends with Steve Maisel and I know what he had in his in 2008, and I know what I have in my Belleville car, that can run competitively at Highland and TCS. There is no comparison on the engines. Shoot, there are guys running UMP street stocks that have motors that would make some of the STL area sportsman motors blush. Then you get into shoucks also. I only paid $80 bucks apiece for mine. The UMP cars can run the more expensive type like the sportsman. So I believe it is a costly jump in my opinion.
