UMP Super Late Model 2004 Season Openers!

St. Charles, MO (March 11, 2004) Seventeen different tracks in six different states will feature the United Midwestern Promoters (UMP) Super Late Model Series as part of their weekly program.

One of those tracks, Clarksville Speedway in Clarksville, TN begins their 2004 season this Saturday, March 13th. Two more tracks begin their season the following week, Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway in Calvert City, KY and Mt. Vernon Raceway in Mt. Vernon, IL get under way on March 20th.

Godfrey Speedway in Godfrey, IL opens their season on March 26th followed by Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, OH on March 27th.

The chase for the 2004 UMP Late Model National Championship begins on Friday, April 2nd. A host of other tracks begin their season on this weekend, including Belle-Clair Speedway in Belleville, IL, Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, IL and Paducah Int'l Raceway in Paducah, KY. The following night, Saturday, April 3rd, the season kicks off for Highland Speedway in Highland, IL, I-55 Raceway in Pevely, MO, Macon Speedway in Macon, IL and at Montgomery County Speedway in New Florence, MO.

Kankakee Motor Speedway in Kankakee, IL will kick off their 2004 season with a $5,000 to win special on Friday, April 16th. The following night, Saturday, April 17th will be the season openers for Crown Point Motor Speedway in Crown Point, IN and Kamp Motor Speedway in Boswell, IN.

Oakshade Raceway in Wauseon, OH starts their 2004 season on May 1st and Fairbury American Legion Speedway in Fairbury, IL will begin on May 15th.

These are the opening dates reported to UMP by the tracks and are subject to change and dependent on weather conditions.
