Friday, August 20, 2004, BF Goodrich/NHRA Sport Compact Nationals Test and Tune: Get
an advanced look at the competitors from every class in the weekend's Sport Compact Series.
Pro, Sportsman, E.T., Motorcyle and even Street Legal racers will test the track and their vehicles
in order to make the necessary adjustments to give them the edge they'll need to emerge
victorious on Sunday. Gates open at 4:00pm with runs from 6:00pm to 11:00pm.
Saturday, August 21, 2004, BF Goodrich/NHRA Sport Compact Nationals: Day one of the
Inaugural BF Goodrich/NHRA Sport Compact Nationals features Championship Pro and
Sportsman Heads-up Classes; All Motor, Hot Rod, Modified, Pro FWD and Pro RWD and Sport
FWD and Sport RWD; in qualifying action. Also racing today will be two Dial-In Bracket
Classes, Pro Bike and Street Bike plus six Street Legal Grudge Racing Heads-Up Classes. In
addition, the Finals of the Miss Gateway competition takes place on the stage at 7:00pm followed
by the Hip-Hop Spectacular featuring Murphy Lee. Gates open at Noon with time trials from
2:00pm to 10:00pm and heads-up qualifying sessions at 3:00pm, 5:30pm and 8:00pm.

the Inaugural BF Goodrich/NHRA Sport Compact Nationals concludes on this second day and
features 1st Round Eliminations in All Motor, Hot Rod, Sport FWD and Sport RWD classes
beginning at 10:30am. E.T. Time Trials are from 9:30am to Noon and Final Eliminations in all
classes begin at 1:30pm following Opening Ceremonies at 1:00pm. The Sony Xplod/NHRA
Stylefest runs from 10:00am to 5:00pm and includes the NHRA Xtreme Tuner Car Show, the
NHRA Usaci Sound Challenge, the NHRA Xtreme Bikini Jam presented by Modified Magazine
at 2:30pm, live DJ's, bands, giveaways and more. Gates open at 9:00am.
