Saturday, June 4th marks the much anticipated debut of USAC racing at the Terre Haute Action Track for the 2005 season. The First Financial Bank SUMAR Classic 100 features USAC’s National Silver Crown Series and UMP Modifieds.

Described as the “world’s most competitive major racing series” by Auto Racing Analysis, USAC’s National Silver Crown Series hosts only a select group of prestigious races each season from California to Virginia. The Terre Haute Action Track is honored to be included among these ranks. The Legendary ½ mile Action Track is 1 of only 5 dirt surfaces the national series will run this season.

A win at Terre Haute is an integral part of taking the points lead just 4 races into the 14-race season for USAC’s National Silver Crown Series. Past series champions, Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, Ryan Newman, Mario Andretti, A.J. Foyt & Al Unser, Jr., will tell you versatility is the key to success. Racing on both paved and dirt tracks, for at least 100 miles or 100 laps, these drivers don’t give up until the checkers fall!

The 100 lap First Financial Bank SUMAR Classic 100 Saturday, June 4th is sure to be a thrilling night for race fans! Terre Haute fans will see the future stars of racing FIRST at the Action Track!

Fans attending the “Hoosier Hundred” at Indiana State Fairgrounds on Friday, May 27th will save $5.00 off admission by presenting a “Hoosier Hundred” ticket stub at the Action Track ticket office.

Gates Open at 5pm, Time trials at 6:30 & Racing at 7pm. Tickets are on sale now at (812) 234-6868 or online at www.terrehauteactiontrack.com.
