Uscs Announces Payout For Ump Late Model And Open-wheel Modified Points Races

FAYETTEVILLE, GA - United Sprint Car Series officials have announced the payouts for the UMP Late Model and UMP Open-Wheel Modified points races on May 30 at Clarksville Speedway in Clarksville, TN. The UMP 20-lap Late Model main event will pay $1,200-to-win, and the 15-lap UMP Open-Wheel Modified main event will pay $500-to-win.

Both UMP Late Model and Open-Wheel Modified competitors will be competing for full UMP National points on the 1/4-mile clay oval, and will also run heat races. All other Clarksville Speedway weekly divisions will also run heat races and 15-lap main events.

The USCS winged outlaw sprint cars will compete in the six-lap Air Flow Research Power Dash, 10-lap heat races, and a 30-lap main event. A Fireworks Spectacular will also be a part of the Memorial Day event.

The USCS-promoted event will be called the USCS "Salute To The Armed Forces" Night. All active-duty military personnel with a valid Military I.D. Card will receive half-price general admission to Clarksville Speedway on May 30 for just $10.

The Clarksville Speedway gates will open on May 30 for the special Sunday night show at 4:00 p.m., and racing action is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Clarksville Speedway is located just off I-24 at exit 1. Take State Road 48 south 3/10-mile, then take State Road 236 west for 2.4 miles, then take Needmore Road south for 1.3 miles.
