USCS Outlaw Thunder winged sprint and NASCAR Late Models headline Anderson Motor Speedway’s
AMS Summer Nationals 2014 on Friday and Saturday, July 25[sup]th[/sup] and 26[sup]th[/sup]

Atlanta, GA – July 19, 2014 - The 120+ mile per hour ground pounding winged sprint cars of thre United Sprint Car Series (USCS) Outlaw Thunder Tour presented by K&N Filters invades one of its favorite paved track venues this coming weekend when it returns to Anderson Motor Speedway near Anderson, SC on Friday, July 25[sup]th[/sup] and Saturday, July 26[sup]th[/sup].
On Friday, July 25[sup]th [/sup]at 8:00pm the 120+ mile per hour USCS Outlaw Thunder winged sprint cars join the popular NASCAR Late Model Stocks as headliners on an action packed racing card joined by four of the speedway’s NASCAR weekly racing stock car divisions and the USCS Legends Cars for Night One of the AMS Summer Nationals speed spectacular at the historic 3/8 mile paved oval. Each division will contest a full racing program with the NASCAR Late Model Stocks going 50 laps in their evening main event finale.
On Saturday July 26[sup]th[/sup] the USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour winged sprint car drivers headline a program that also includes an all important US Legends Car Regional (Nationals) Qualifier event with two 30-lap main events. One will be in the Masters/Pro division and one in the Semi Pro /Young Lions divisions. Additionally the NASCAR sanctioned Renegades, Mini Stocks, BM Modfieds and Front Wheel Drives return with a full program of racing in each division. The family friendly race card also includes autograph sessions.
In the USCS presented by K&N Filters sprint car division, fans can expect to see an exotic mixture of winged Outlaw style sprint cars designed and utilized for dirt track racing in a battle with cars designed primarily for paved track racing. The USCS rules for pavement events make both types of cars capable of being equally competitive. Driver pre-entries are expected from some of the Nation’s top drivers from at least seven states as far away as Mississippi, Florida and Ohio.
The two-night event includes the all-important Rounds #3 and #4 of the four-race USCS “Road to Atlanta” Series to pre- qualify cars to compete in the Labor Day weekend USCS “Sprint Car Shootout” on Friday, August 29[sup]th[/sup] when the USCS sprint cars compete before 30,000 plus race fans at Atlanta Motor Speedway during their NASCAR Sprint Cup weekend.
***The United Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters is the only winged sprint car series in the World that contests it’s Championship on both dirt and paved ovals. At 1,300 pounds and over 700 horsepower, winged sprint cars are pound for pound the World’s fastest and most powerful short-track cars.
Ticket pricing: for the AMS Summer Nationals event are just $20 each night for individual Adult admissions. Children 11 and under are FREE Each Night. Discounts available: Two-Day Adult Admission is only $30 when purchased at the track in advance or on Friday, July 25[sup]th[/sup] (Gates Open at 5:00pm) Adult One-Day Admission is $15.00 if purchased in advance at the track prior to 7:00 pm on Thursday, July 24[sup]th[/sup].
