Malden, MO - On Friday, April 20th at 7:30 pm Malden Speedway in Malden, Missouri will feature a United Speed Contest Sanction (USCS) DOUBLE-HEADER event featuring both the O'Reilly United Sprint Car Series and the USCS Open Wheel Modified Series in action on the same night. The event will be Round #2 for the 2007 O'Reilly USCS Mid-South Thunder Tour and also Round #2 for the 2007 USCS Open Wheel Modified Series after both series opened their seasons at Malden Speedway on March 23rd and 24th in the 1st Annual Bootheel 200. That event saw Jerrod Hull from Sikeston, MO win the 30-lap O'Reilly USCS feature. Troy Fowler from Portageville, MO won the 30-lap USCS Open Wheel Modified main event. top sprint car and Open Wheel Modiifed rivers from at least four states are expected in both divisions. Also on tap are races in all other Malden Speedway weekly racing divisions including Crate Late Model, Hobby, Street, E-Mod and Mini Stock.
The races for both of the USCS series scheduled for the following night, Saturday, April 21st at Garnertown Speedway in Luray, Tennessee have been removed from both schedules. All other 2007 races scheduled at Garnertown Speedway for both series have been replaced with the same type events at Camden Speedway in Camden, Tennessee on the same dates. Both series schedules will be revised by the first of next week to reflect the changes.
