USRA Meeting

You need to get out of the stl area alittle then you mite understand what is going on not many tracks get a car count at weekly shows

no tri city has always had high car counts under revins reigns I 55 has been pretty stable and so has highland
One of the major problems with ump is the tech the lack of. In the mods its mainly the body rules. Roof height, rake, deck height and body width. Put the tape to em. would like to think UMP can afford one.

thats is the tracks fault not UMP s YOU think USRA would any different it would be the same people doing tech

really i get around plus I see the results from other tracks in all sanctions , really if the area is doing ok for car count why the change

Hope USRA gets in this area. Up to the drivers to make the push. All in or fold. Driggars and UMP all about lining their pockets. Remember when UMP had the racer in mind? Before the jack-offs at World Group brought it!
how many tracks does usra own or a big part off

There is no such thing as saving the racers money. If you restrict it in one place, we will spend it somewhere else. The guy who has the money wins. That's just racing.

I don't buy that. One tire---hard. Mandated affordable shocks with sanction claim. When you claim them you test them. Control engine costs. Lots of ways to do this and many other sanctions have but it requires teching. UMP ruined the crate class because of no tech. This is just a start.

But crates are legal in supers unlike other sanctions even the 525 the crate class was ruinedbby letting guys with 25 yrs exp in the class

I would like to know why everyone wants more rules in the A Mods. They have a B Mod class that has all kinds of rules. I actually race A Mod, unlike some people on here complaining about it. Everyone on here keeps talking about more engine restrictions. The more you restrict an engine , the more $ per horsepower it cost. I have been at this for several years. I can say without a doubt. The more restrictions there are, the more it cost to be competitive.

The affordable shock is only affordable if you don't have any shocks. I know a lot of people like me that have a bunch of shocks. If I had to start buying all my stuff new again, I would be done. I do think we should be on a G60 tire.

The "affordable shocks" they want us to run cost more than the shocks we have on the car now..But they are not on ump's list so that's more $$ out of pocket..ugh

You guys aren't happy with the cost of racing and then bitch about cost saving changes? Wow! Any change could be worked in over several years with added weight provisions. Don't want to run standard shocks the first year then add X amount of weight. Increase the weight each year until everyone is on the program. Shocks don't last forever and you have to replace them anyway.

The direction you're going now ain't working and is going to continue to cause a decrease in car counts over time.

I have never complained about the cost. If I want to run a cheaper class, I would drop to B mod. So far with ump, if they mandate a certain type of something, we have to give them money for there sticker. That's where my problem with ump is.

IMCA & USRA have the same type of programs with manufacturers.

Ask Kenny Wallace who was DQ'd from an IMCA win a couple of years ago because the IMCA sticker had fallen off his wheel.

Would you, please quit making sense. Some can't handle it. Like f40

There you go again making sense this has to stop.
