CORONA, CA (September 28, 2010) -The Appliance Zone sponsorship competition has been a great success in 2010 and is heading into the final two events of the year in the state of Georgia on October 9th and 10th. The final two events at Dixie Speedway and Rome Speedway will be instrumental in deciding which driver will receive the $70,000 sponsorship from Appliance Zone for the 2011-racing season.

Chris Wall and Jimmy Owens continue to lead the two point's categories under the Appliance Zone sponsorship contest with Wall leading the fan voting portion and Owens leading the on-track point's category among the five drivers. Appliance Zone reps have set up a booth at several Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series events and during the World 100 at Eldora Speedway in 2010 for fans to vote for their favorite driver during the season. Fans can also go online and vote for the driver he or she think deserves the 2011 sponsorship. Simply visit either www.appliancezoneracing.com or www.lucasdirt.com and click on the banner that is linked to the fan-voting page.

The five LOLMDS drivers that were selected by Appliancezone.com are competing for the $70,000 primary sponsorship for the 2011-racing season. Jimmy Owens, Ray Cook, Don O'Neal, Chris Wall, and Steve Casebolt all are trying to win this unique contest. The criteria for winning the sponsorship are divided into three categories: on-track performance (points earned), fan voting at www.appliancezoneracing.com, and by a special panel vote from members of the media, Lucas Oil Products, Appliance Zone, and NASCAR drivers Clint Boyer and Bobby Labonte.

For fans wanting to vote for their favorite driver, voting will continue until midnight October 10th. After fan voting has been closed, the website will be cut off and all fan votes will be totaled to determine which driver won the fan voting. After the final event at Rome Speedway on October 10th, the on-track points will be totaled up among the five drivers to determine which driver won that point's category as well. From that point, the special panel will determine which of the two drivers that won the fan vote portion and the on-track points category will receive the $70,000 sponsorship from Appliance Zone. All five drivers will receive a cash award at the series year-end banquet from Appliance Zone for participating in the contest this year.

"We are thrilled on how well this contest has worked this year with the five drivers. They are all deserving of the sponsorship for their efforts and we really have enjoyed getting to know each one of them this year. We're looking forward to the series' Championship banquet and announcing the winner of the $70,000 sponsorship. The Lucas Oil Series has really been great to work with and we can't wait to see the Appliance Zone car win some races on the Lucas tour in 2011," stated Jim Allen of Appliancezone.com.

Appliance Zone representatives will make the announcement and presentation to the driver that won the 2011 sponsorship at the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series year-end awards banquet on November 20th at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN. The Appliance Zone Company, based in Corydon, Indianais the fastest growing company in the online appliance parts industry. A special Appliance Zone point's page is listed on the series website for fans to keep up with the accumulated points after each event. Fans can log on and vote at www.applaincezoneracing.com or on the series website at www.lucasdirt.com and click on the appliancezone banner on the front page.
