(Less Than 8,000 Tickets Still Remain For Historic Event)

Madison, IL - Gateway International Raceway announced updates regarding
the events surrounding the upcoming weekend of July 29-30.

Less than 8,000 tickets remain for this monumental, once-in-a-lifetime race event.
There are still plenty of good seats available and they also can be purchased the day of
the race. The track has already sold more tickets than it sold in total for 2004.

On Thursday evening, July 28 along the Mississippi River at the Casino Queen we will host
the NASCAR Busch Series "ON TOUR". The event will include a free concert by country
music star Darryl Worley as well as
a unique questions & answer and autograph session with drivers Martin Truex, Carl
Edwards, Kenny Wallace and David Green. The event is compliments of Busch Beer,
Charter, The Bull, Casino Queen and NASCAR and though it is free, a $5 donation to the
Special Olympics is appreciated.

On Friday afternoon, July 29 at 3:30 PM Gateway will dedicate the grandstand in Turns 1
and 2 in honor of the Wallace Family. Fans and media are invited to the ceremony, which
will take place in the Brown South Parking area.

On Saturday night July 30, "The Wallace Family Tribute 250 presented by Shop 'n Save"
will feature the NASCAR Busch Series on the Gateway 1.25-mile oval. The all-star lineup
includes St. Louis natives Rusty, Mike and Kenny Wallace, Michael Waltrip, Jimmy
Spencer, Sterling Marlin Columbia, Missouri native Carl Edwards and defending Busch
Series and 2004 Gateway Race Champion Martin Truex Jr.

Nextel Cup driver and Fenton, Missouri native Ken Schrader returns to Gateway to run in the
"Shop 'n Save 150" ARCA RE/MAX Series race on Friday night, July 29.
