(05/22/07) -- One more shot in the month of May is all Shannon Babb, Clint Smith, Billy Moyer and Chris Madden have at catching and/or dethrowning the current UNSANCTIONED NATIONAL RANKINGS high point man Scott Bloomquist. MR.
SMOOTH and CATDADDY were the only two of the afore mentioned that were able to gain ground at this weekends STAKKED 10 (Double Points) event in Missouri. Joining Bloomquist, Madden, Jimmy Owens, Tim McCreadie and Babb in the STAKKED 10 ranks is Moyer, Brian Shirley, CATDADDY and Brady Smith. Of course we can't leave out LIL' MAN Wendall Wallace, winner of the $41,000 LARGE ONES. The World of Outlaw Late Model series takes a final night of action in May on Thursday night with an event in Delaware.
Not to rant a repeat but, RANKINGS points leader BLACK SUNSHINE is STILL flanked by Babb (by a mere 20 points), due to the fact that neither could produce top fives Saturday night during the SHOW ME 100. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE... CATDADDY got a twenty (20) point feline booster shot with his fourth place nod. While, Moyer not only got a shot, but cleanly passed Madden (who'se wife Stephanie and newly born baby are recooperating from an early
delivery) for fourth in the points with his fifty (50) point runner-up finish. Wallace also joins the NCC Rankings top ten for the first time (after anchoring the rankings since March) in 2007 tied for ninth with Don O'Neal and Earl Pearson Jr. The month of June gallops in with a pair of events, just prior to the annual $100,000., to win, DREAM at ELDORA, the NCC's 3rd STAKKED 10 event.
