BONNE TERRE, Mo. -- (July 19, 2003) Jason Waller of Bonne Terre captured not one but two top eliminator titles Saturday at Big River Sand Drags, one in the Competition Eliminator class and the other in the Super Pro ATV class.
In Competition Eliminator, Waller finished second with Steve Barton of Bonne Terre taking first, but it was Waller winning the top eliminator race.
Then in Super Pro ATV, once again Waller had finished second behind Dale Bates of Festus, and once again he won the top eliminator race to finish off his outstanding night.
In Off Road Modified, Josh Harris of Belgrade was the first place winner with Todd Dee taking second and the top eliminator race.
In Open 4x4, Gary Eckhoff of Cadet was both the top eliminator and first place winner while Chris Mackley of Bonne Terre settled for second place.
In Vehicle ET, Carla Glatczak of Potosi was the top eliminator and first place winner while Gladys Edwards of Bonne Terre was second.
In Pro ATV, Tony Pannel of Fenton was the first place winner, but it was Tom Boyster taking the top eliminator race and second place.
In ATV-1, Charles Jarzenbeck of Hillsboro was the top eliminator and first place winner while Karen Schmidt of Arnold was second.
In Junior ATV, Bethany Glore of Park Hills captured first place with Garth Farris of Potosi taking top eliminator and second place.
Racing at Big River Sand Drags continues this Saturday. Gates open at 3 p.m. with time trials at 4 and racing at 7. For more information phone (573) 358-5009.
