(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) Wendell Wallace Autosports will bring out their new
modified this weekend for the fifth annual Justin Stanfill Memorial Modified
Special at West Plains Motor Speedway in West Plains, MO. The event runs
from Thursday through Saturday and will feature nightly features, with an
$8,000 payday for the Saturday finale. You can learn more about the
modified event at West Plains by accessing the WPMS website at
www.westplains-speedway.com.

Wendell is coming off a disappointing weekend at Atomic Motor Speedway in
his J&J Steel sponsored #88 GRT / Keith Craft Ford Taurus late model.
Wendell missed the $5,000 to win World of Outlaw Late Model
Series-sanctioned show on Saturday after qualifying poorly. He rebounded by
finishing second in his heat and second in his dash on Sunday to make the
$12,000 to win WoO show. During the feature, Wendell was running up front
when another competitor turned him around late in the 60-lap affair. He
ended up 16th after being sent to the tail after the incident. Wendell is
currently eleventh in the WoO Late Model Series point standings after six
events.

"The Batesville Bullet" was disappointed about how the Hoosier 100 weekend
went at Atomic. "We did not have a very good weekend," said Wendell on
Monday. "You could not pass very much all weekend because of the daytime
start. We drew an early number on Saturday and qualified bad and could not
pass enough cars to get in the show. Then on Sunday we qualified good, but
got taken out in the feature. I think we would have probably run second
behind (Dale) McDowell, but we could not make it to the end of the race. It
is a shame that it turned out that way because we needed a good run and got
spun out."

Keep up with Wendell's modified efforts this weekend and his racing efforts
all year long by logging on www.wendellwallace.com.
