I see that this forum hasn't been posted in regularly in quite a while... But I know how valuable this forum is to the racing community in Missouri, St. Louis, and to our track in Bonne Terre.
The 2013 Season Opener is almost here, as Big River Sand Drags opens up with new management (a team assembled from people who worked every facet of the track from the 90's up to 2006). We've worked hard to bring everything up to code, and the track LOOKS GREAT!!! Our schedule and all pertinent information can be found on our new website, www.BigRiverSandDrags.com. COMING UP THIS WEEKEND:
FRIDAY MAY 24TH - Test & Tune w/ timing system, $20 unlimited passes, Admission is: $5 adults, $1 kids (11-15), and 10 & under are ALWAYS FREE!
SATURDAY MAY 25TH - SEMO Sand Invitational (1st points race) - We will have a Wall of Fame ceremony to kick off our first race of the season. Gates open at Noon, Time Trials from 12:30-6pm, Ceremony starts right at 7, and racing follows immediately after. As part of our Heroes Weekend, we are offering $5 admission by showing your Military ID. General Admission is: Adult $10, Kids $5, Jrs FREE!
We will also offer attendance prizes (LIKE A PAIR OF CARDS/CUBS TICKETS) just for coming through the gate! See you at the track!
