The Western Allstars Super Dirt Latemodel Series announces their purse, point’s fund and giveaways for the 2007 racing season.

The 2007 racing season gets underway March 8th & 9th at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with the BestChoiceProperties.com Las Vegas Dirt Classic, a $3000 to win and $500 to start A-main event. “Mr. Smooth” Billy Moyer and Josh “Kid Rocket” Richards will be in action on those days. March 9th will see a special Pioneer Mercantile Fast Dash paying the winner $1000.

From there they will head to Bakersfield Speedway on March 10th for the Kay Automotive Distributors 40 paying $3000 to win and $500 to start. Dirt Latemodel legend Billy Moyer will be following the series to this event.

All 2007 Western Allstar races will pay at least $2000 to win and $500 to start for the A-main and $600 to win and $250 to start for the non-qual main. Some events will pay $3000 to win and $500 to start. The Western Allstars biggest race of the season will be the Firecracker 50 Gary Jacob Memorial presented by Fast Undercar with the A-main purse of $23,500 ($5000 to win and $700 to start and a non-qualifier main paying $800 to win and $250 to start.) This event will be a very prestigious and highly anticipated event for years to come.

The Western Allstars will have a total of 20 events in the 2007 season. 15 of those races being point’s races with a year end points fund of $25,000. The point’s fund is sponsored by Fast Undercar of Bakersfield, Ca. On top of the $2500 championship money, the series champion will receive a custom made firesuit valued at $1000 courtesy of Hinchman-Indy Racing Suits in Indianapolis, Indiana. 2nd Place in points will receive $2000 and a custom race car vinyl wrap provided by Aue Enterprises Custom Graphics owned by latemodel racer Marcus Aue. 3rd place in points will receive $1500 and a custom paint job for his helmet sponsored by Colors by Barr, a custom paint shop specializing in race helmets. 4th place in points will receive $1375 and a dirt latemodel car cover made for them by Race Cover-Alls. The Western allstar point’s fund will pay back 25 spots with last place earning $500.

Other giveaway the Western Allstars have in store for 2007 will be a free Hoosier D55 tire sponsored by San Luis Truck, to the first non transfer in every heat race all year long. Last place in every heat race and B-main will receive a case of oil courtesy of H&S Bodyworks and Towing. InsureItForLess.com will be sponsoring a drum of VP Latemodel Plus at each of the 15 point races at Bakersfield Speedway, Kings Speedway and Chowchilla Speedway.

With only 15 of 20 events being point races the Western Allstars have some very special incentives in store for any racer traveling to all the series event with the exception of 1 throw away weekend. Each racer that can accomplish this will go in a raffle for a 2007 Victory Circle Dirt Latemodel. This 07 Victory Circle Chassis will be equipped with such parts as a Peterson drysump system, Integra shocks and MX Springs, A Bert transmission, bellhousing and starter from Mason Racin, a custom seat from Joie of Seating, and a carbon fiber driveshaft and roof from Trick Race Parts. Also to be given away in the drawing will be a 1,200 sq ft race shop sponsored by Steel Co. Steel Co is a steel building manufacturer out of Bakersfield, Ca.

A 2008 C.J. Rayburn chassis will be given away at the end of year in a drawing involving all of the drivers in the top 25 in points that raced a Rayburn Chassis in 2007. C.J Rayburn is also offering a $4,500 contingency program for the top 5 in Western Allstar Points at the end of the season. It is an honor having a legend like C.J. Rayburn involved in our series , noted series promoter Chris Kearns

Some other 2007 prizes for drivers attending Western Allstar events will be $100 for Fast Time sponsored by Indiana Truck Salvage. A used auto and truck parts company owned by latemodel racer Dino Napier. $100 Hard Charger awarded by Little Darlins Child Care of Bakersfield, Ca. Pioneer Mercantile a auto parts and hardware store in Bakersfield, Ca will be sponsoring all of the 2007 trophy dashes which will pay $100, $75, $50, $25. Pioneer Mercantile is managed by long time dirt late model supporter Jason V.

One of the special features on the Western Allstar Series is the Air Co. “Deal or No Deal” non qualifier main event. This is a main event for any racer not transferring out of the hear race or B-main. It pays $600 to win and $250 to start. The deal is the winner can take the $600 or give the check back and tag the A main for $100 less. Air Co. is a Heating and Air Conditioning Company in Bakersfield, Ca.

Series Promoter Chris Kearns states, “ The Western Allstars Super Dirt Latemodel Series is a series built by racers for racers,” Kearns added, “We like to treat racer like customers, because they are.”
