What happened to Bittle and Weber?

Does anyone know why Bobby Bittle and Scott Weber both came to Godfrey to run tonight and didn't even race once? The fans speculated that it may have been because of the terrible track conditions. Does anyone know for sure if they broke or what? Thanks.

I am just guessing, but since Weber has a new car and the track was in bad condition, he just didn't want to destroy another car this year.
 
Weber is still getting the kinks out of his car, his qualifing time was 16.877....... Bittle car broke down after the qualifing and could not race.Bittle qualifing time was 17.652
