I think one of the best was the sportsman race at I55 on Oct 9.

I think the WoO late model race at tri city this year was awsome until Bloomquist put Pearson into the wall. Otherwize the whole race, it was just awsome but maybe that could have also been because thats the first WoO race I have ever watched.

The heat race at TCS when Ed Dixon busted the left front in the first turn of lap one, fell back to 6th, got a handle on the car and kept the left front off the ground for the next God knows how many laps even passing guys to finish third. On the half mile. That little demonstration was the single best race I saw all year. By far.

The other one that stands out was the feature at the sportsman fall nationals, that was a damn good race in two parts. Watching Terry just peel off lap after lap in front for the first half, then the big fight for the win over the last few laps with Weber, Horton and Maisel coming from way back to be in it at the end. Good racing.

I'LL GO FOR THAT ONE ALSO! DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THE "BIG BOYS" TO BE THE BEST!

THE BIGS GUYS WOULD HAVE PULLED OFF A;SOTHE NIGHT DIXON CAME FROM LAst TO WIN ALSO EXTREME AT I55 WAS GREAT CHECK OUT 4M 3 HOUR OF DIRT POST

Dixon coming from a flat tire on the first few laps to come back and pass Billy Faust with a couple laps to go to win was probably one of the best. The best I would say though was the night at I-55 that about 9 modifieds were battling it out for the win. Most of the time it was 3 wide for the lead. I believe Shereck came out on top that night, but I could be wrong.

My pick also......the whole night was full of great racing.

godfrey the night dixon was chasin down collinz and wound up on the fence with less than 10 to go. restarted in back and came thru for the win. close second was the outlaw late models at granite.

oct 2 when justin allgier broke the 155 track record after the extreme show and donnie moran broke it two weeks earlier.

This one is hard cause most of the racing I seen was great this year. Cant think of a time when I left thinking it wasnt good racing.
I have to say that watching Marty Kopp this year was exciting. He always put on a good race. Had some bad luck sometimes but pulled through. I like seeing Marty's step-son Ronnie Heaton getting back into W1LD out at tri-city and pulling off 2 out of 3 features.
I guess like i said all in all this whole 04 racing season was great!
Oh yeah got to mention seeing Tommy Gegg get his first feature win was pretty exciting, too!

The rained out UMP Summernationals race at Farmer City in September was probably the best show I saw this year between Shannon Babb and Don O'neal. I liked the fact that Shannon came out 1st too! :D

I'm gonna hafta say the modified summer nationals race between scott weber and jeff leka who was in chad sellers back up car.great clean race by both drivers.great to watch.Good luck Leka in 2005!

the best race i seen locally was here in central missouri between carl edwards and steve payne..steve payne and carl started near the back, both making a charge to the front.in the process steve payne got cought by a spun car having to go back to the tail, carl edwards remained in 4th place..about ten laps later carl edwards was running first and steve payne made a hell of a come back and was sitting in second.steve reeled edwards in and passed him with three laps to go,pulled about a half a straitaway lead and broke the axle on the last lap pulling off the track leaving the win with edwards...

i didnt get to go to as many races this year because of the sift i worked but the ones i did go to the best on i seen was when dick taylor came down to tricity after racing highland and came from dead last to 5th at the end it was great ,the heat race at tricity with dixon was awsome to
