what was the deal with pevely closing the concession stand down before the features

They put the lights up there so they can have better lighting for the TV shows (World of Outlaws Sprint cars and late models, and other shows, they are trying to make pevely a better track. Drivers say It is ALOT better lit up they can see alot better and they can go FASTER!!!

Some people don't appreciate, a well lit race track, and they probably won't, until they have been to some tracks that have really poor lighting, I won't name any, but I have been to a few, that it was so dark that cars almost dissapeared. Not only is that dangerous for the drivers, but lousy for the fans. I applaud Pevely, for making the improvements that they have made, and are going to make in the future.

Transponders was a great idea for Kevin but wasn't the scoreboard already there? I know Tri City has made tons of improvements and the Gundakers need a nice pat on their backs. And I thought the lights at I-55 are a nice addition. J/M/O... They as well as other tracks are always making improvements that are much appreciated. The racing was fantastic Sat Night! And can't wait to get to TCS to watch. That is before the new boat comes in because we all know Sundays are for boating

They can't keep the snack bar open till the last minute. They would be stuck giving away left over food. They usually offer half priced burgers near the end. THE BEER STAND COULD STAY OPEN THOUGH!
