What will happen following the Aug. 2 rainouts

Mother Nature really screwed up a great night! For some tracks having 78 cars in the pits might not seem like a lot, but for Fredericktown it is HUGE and that is what we had tonight.
We made it through the RAMS Mini Stock, 600cc Multi and Pure Street heat races, but following the first Hobby Stock heat race we got DUMPED ON. So the second Hobby Stock race and all three of the Modified heat races got washed out. SO, after all of that, this is what is going to happen.

On SUNDAY, Aug. 10th at the Fredericktown Raceway we will run:
1. RAMS Mini Stock make-up feature
2. 600cc Multi make-up feature
3. Pure Street make-up feature
4. Then a complete night of racing featuring the RAMS, Multis, Pure Streets, Hobby Stocks and Modifieds.

Hey, we had 20 modifieds tonight, that is the most ever at Fredericktown. And like I said, that might not seem like a huge number to some, but this is a small track and we are VERY proud of the way the racers have come out and supported us... THANK YOU ALL VERY, VERY MUCH!!!

Because all the heat races for the RAMS, Multis and Pure Streets were ran, pit passes for the make-up show are no longer valid. Pit passes for the Hobby Stocks and Modifieds will be honored because the heat races were not completed.

Tickets for the main grandstand will be honored because we did not get through all the heat races. MAKE SURE YOU HANG ON TO THAT TICKET!!!

I know all of this will be confusing to some, but this is general practice at all area tracks. There will be no refunds given. For more information on any of this contact Terry Flanagan at (573) 783-3901 or you can call me at (573) 747-0566 and I'll see if I can answer your question.

I can tell you this: Anyone who was not at tonight's event, but would like to race in the Aug. 10th event can come and do so. They will just be in the Aug. 10th show and not the make-up race. Only those people who were in the heat races will be allowed to race in the make-up races. Also, if you are a driver of one of those cars and you cannot make it, but somebody else can drive your car, you can do so but you must start at the back of the pack. If I've confused you more I apologize, I'm just trying to address as many questions as I can here.

Also, because we will have SO MANY RACES to get in that night, we will open the gates at 3 p.m. and start racing NO LATER THAN 4:30 p.m. And that will be the first RAMS make-up feature... Keep an eye on this post though because these times may be adjusted...

I hope I've clarified a few things.... Again.... THANKS TO ALL THE GREAT RACERS AND FANS WHO PACKED THE PLACE TONIGHT... IT WAS GREAT...

START TIME
Millsey, do you really think a 4:30 start time is early enough to get all the races in & still get us on the road at a decent hour? Ithink the gates should open at 1:00 & start @ 2:30. Everyone should be out of church & ready to race by 1:00, don't you think?Just my thoughts.

so let me get this straight, the RAMS, multis, and purestreets will have to pay 40.00 a head to get in sunday and the mods and some of the hobby cars will only have to pay 20.00? if so, that really blows considering we dont get paid anything for the heat races anyway. point is we are gonna have 60.00 worth of entry fees to run to features. not cool!!!!

Rain out !

With time being such an issue ,they need to let everyone in that already paid and start the show over as a new nite . Noone was paid for anything , so why do they have to pay again ? The"Hustler"

Pit Passes?

Yes Millsey, some of us are being confused. Are some of us having to pay twice to race the same feature of 8/2/03? No body is pleased with the rainout and we all want the track to make money but not at the racers expense. We have paid to run our feature for 8/2/03 so all we should pay for on 8/10/03 is for that race.

People who were there in the Hobby Stocks and the Modifieds WON'T have to pay anything to get into the pits on that Sunday, all they will have to do is bring their armbands back. The RAMS, Pure Streets and Multis have to pay a normal everyday pit pass (just one) and they will actually be getting two paychecks (one for the make-up feature and one for the regular feature). Nobody is paying anything extra at all.

By the way, the times for that Sunday are gates open at 4 p.m., hot laps at 5 and racing at 6.

Thanks Jeff

Thanks Jeff, the way your last post explained it was easier to understand. Jon

Still confused

So are you saying only the DRIVERS of the ministocks, pure streets, and multis have to pay again and everyone else gets in with their armband? That's what I think I am reading. Thanks.
