was with resinger tonight??? i dont get it! and then another thing....i still dont see why doug savage had to go to the back when it was CHRIS BOYD that deserved to go to the back....what was it with people tonight?!?! its pretty sad everyone has to drive like an @$$ in order to win!!!

Man oh man Kidd Fan, you're quick tonight. I have to admit the Savage and Boyd thing was ridiculious. Just wait until LD gets home. She'll wear out her keyboard, she's so mad.

You're right, LD will be wearing out her keyboard. She is PI**Ed off and for good reason. What was up with the track tonight? Things could get interesting on here. Can't wait to hear everyones thoughts. I'm sure the sportsman car count will continue to drop after tonight, huh????????? ****ed for the fans who were TRYING to watch through all that damn dust in our face.

Here I Go .......

I was so frustrated tonight when i left the track i couldnt see straight ! That Hobby's/Sportsman race was a JOKE !!!!!!!! I absolutely believe that Chris Boyd should have been on the back of that pack. But, to send Doug back there was totaly uncalled for ! That was possibly the WORST call i have seen at this track so far. Even the people in the stands all around me were all as shocked as i was. Then the deal with Mr Resinger... even IF the #23 did do something or got into the Resinger car his actions were UNCALLED FOR. You do not get underneath a car and push it half a lap around the track , THEN get out of your car to go and whip up on that driver !!!!! HE KNOWS BETTER THAN THAT ! I dont know what the answer is but i think someone better figure it out FAST ... People WONT tolerate crapp like this. There is to many tracks to race at ........ LeaDonna

hasn't he been kicked out down here before for the same thing??

well...

somebody told me resinger said he wasn't comin back after that...so...i dunno...but LeaDonna...i agree...that was the WORST call ever...

yeah, Millsey, we want to hear your opinion......because you know everyone else is going to give their opinion. That's what this site is for, right?????? Crazy night at The Rock.......lots of pissed off drivers and fans.

Here is a suggestion...

Someone made the suggestion that maybe they should have taken a 10 minute intermission last night and reviewed the tape then. Make a final call on it before ALL the people went out that gate all pissed off !!!!!!!!!!! Because, there was ALOT of angry people leaving the track...... which isnt good for car count and fan attendence.... Just a thought ... LeaDonna

LD- I DON'T THINK I'LL BE THERE ON SUNDAY. AS LONG AS I'VE BEEN ATTENDING THE RACES I'VE FINALLY FIGURED OUT THAT ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. I HATE THE WAY THE ROCK OPERATES. HELLO!!! IS ANYBODY LISTENING? THIS IS WHY YOU HAVE LOW CAR COUNTS. SO STOP YOUR B******* AND MAKE THE RIGHT CALLS. I DON'T BLAME THE #35 IF HE DOESN'T COME BACK. IT PROBABLY ISN'T WORTH HIS TIME AND HARD EARNED MONEY TO PUT UP WITH THE CRAP. MILLSEY, YOU ARE INTITLED TO YOUR OPINION, BUT WE ALREADY KNOW HOW YOU FEEL. YOU ALWAYS DISAGREE WITH LD EVEN WHEN WE'RE RIGHT.

hey did dougie go run into boyd after the race was over like he did the 41 last week? maybe this time it would have been warranted! cuz dougie does no wrong you know! tell the 35 to come north and show what he's got if he's done with the rock.

Thank you Faithful Fan. When the situation came up between Doug and Chris I don't know if you remember what I said on the PA, but it was, "The two leaders just took each other out and they are heading to the back of the pack." Both had gone there, but when I looked up Chris was waiting to get his spot back. When I saw that I said several times to everyone in the tower that it WASN'T RIGHT. I talked with Terry today and Billy reviewed the tape since last night and I'm sure there are some kind of corrective measures taking place. Plain and simple, it was a BAD CALL..

I also found out more today about Danny Resinger. When the #23 ran over the front of his car down in turn two is snapped his throttle cable. That's why it looked so bad because they couldn't get the car stopped fast enough.

And Dirty Girl, you may think you've got it all figured out but guess what?

milsey, regarding the ressinger incident, since when does your throttle open when the linkage breaks?

well that whole deal looked bad... when I went home I stopped by the gas station and resinger was there he was telling another driver that his hood was shoved into his linkage and causing it to be wide open... my only question is where is his ON/OFF switch? or will that hurt these motors? the boyd/savage deal all I saw was them two intagled together so I dunno how it happened......HEY HARRIS69 you looked fast on the top grove friday night.....

Let's Clear the Air................

I am Linda Resinger and I am writing on behalf of the Resinger family.

The throttle linkage on Danny's car was not broken, but badly bent. Therefore, the throttle was stuck wide open not allowing Danny to shut down the car. He shut off the fuel control, but since there was still fuel in the line, the car didn't stop until the fuel ran out. Danny had a choice of taking himself and the #23 to the wall and perhaps hurting both of them, going to the infield and hurting someone standing down there or holding his line................... He didn't cause the wreck. The #23 did after running over 2 other cars before he climbed over Danny's hood taking parts of his motor and radiator with him. (This is on tape).

As far as Danny "getting underneath the #23 and pushing it half a lap down the track, then gettin' out of his car and going to whip up on him" ? Danny got out of his car to survery the damage done to it, looked toward the #23 in time to see him grab his crotch, move it in Danny's direction and then mouth Danny saying the wreck was Danny's fault. Danny's first thought WAS to go have a chat with the guy, but he was the bigger man and let it go. (his kids, his wife, his fans and his sponsors were in the stands and his respect for them kept him from going further).

Unless you are the driver of a race car involved in an incident, you have no idea what is going on in that car or even on the track for that matter. People in the stands see maybe half of what is going on and make their judgement calls on what they see (or THINK they see). Even officials make wrong calls. Sometimes they are corrected, sometimes the wrong person is penalized, but the race goes on. That's the game. People can get mad, they talk about other drivers' actions, but unless they are in that driver's seat, they have no inkling of what is going on. Soooooooooooo, until they get some real facts, they should keep their fingers off their keyboards and their mouths shut. A lot of the problems that come out on the racetrack (or in the stands) are caused by the writings on racing forums such as this one.

The guys who drive those cars out there aren't just in it for themselves. If it weren't for them, fans would have no reason to go to the tracks. Week by week another driver drops out. The car counts are going down. Racers are tired of getting their cars torn up, putting them back together only to have them torn up again. If the car counts drop enough, maybe someone will take notice, do something about agressive driving, the changing of the rules from week to week, figure out a good solid racing program that will work for all the racers, stick to that program, enforce the rules for EVERYONE, and the racers can come out, put on a good show and fans won't go home half-cocked and get on the internet and talk about something they know little or nothing about.

My boys like to race as much anyone out there. They certainly don't go to the races with the intention of tearing someone up each and every week. They have families to support, bills to pay, jobs to work at, just as everyone else out there and there's a limit to what you can spend on a race car before it gets to not be fun any more.

That said, let's bring sportsmanship back to the tracks and to these forums. Cheer for your favorite driver but don't slam the ones who aren't your favorites. You may be sitting next to their child or other family member in the stands, or they may be reading what you're writing on the internet.

Now, let's get this behind us, and get on with some racing.

Well put Linda! We miss racing with the Resinger boys every weekend. Look forward to seeing them back at the track soon.

Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Momma Resinger!!!!! I Want To Personally Applaud You For That Speech, It Was Very Well Written!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thank you

Linda, thank you for clearing this up. I don't like to get on here and talk trash. I know Danny doesn't come out every week to tear up his, or anyone elses equipment. I just don't like getting half the story, it is important for someone to straiten things out! As far as these forums, I think it is a great way to discuss the weekends activities, but a large portion of the "people" on them from week to week are kids, or people who want to start something. One important thing to remind everyone is that although some may see these drivers on the track, and attach thier own ideas to thier personnalities, these are real people, not just a number. you have the right to dislike what they do on the track, but please don't transpose this to the people themselves! It may just be words on a screen, but these drivers, including myself, read these forums and some of the things on here are not nice. lets stick to constructive critisism!
